The Return

    Home Back

Luke 18:42: NKJV: Then Jesus said to him: Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.

The persistent and enduring faith displayed by the destitute blind beggar along the road near Jericho who called upon the power of the Man who could save. His plea resounded as thus: Jesus. Son of David, have mercy on me!  The mercy of our Heavenly Father heard despite the scolding of the crowd to shut up, and granted temporary salvation to a better life with sight. The Son of David begins renewal of the Old Testament as documented by the 28 generations of genealogy of Jesus Christ as the son of Abraham (Matthew 1-16).  Luke 3:38 traces the genealogy to Adam, the son of God.

Genesis 5:1-2: This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created.

Mankind was created to represent our Creator by ruling over creation, His dominion. The rest of His dominion is documented by David in the book of Psalms.

Psalms 8:6-9: You have made him to have dominion over the works of YOUR hands. You have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen---even the  beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas. Oh Lord, our Lord, How excellent is YOUR name in all the earth! ** The return of the second Son of God, the firstborn Son of Man, the Messiah’s return is documented in the book of Daniel.

Daniel 7:13-14: I was watching in the night visions, and behold, ONE like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before HIM. Then to HIM was given dominion and glory and a kingdom that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and HIS kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed. This dominion and kingdom is documented in (Matthew 28:18-20). The end of the age is rapidly approaching as the Son of Man spoke of His return in a parable.

Luke 19:15: And so it was that when he returned, having received the kingdom, he then commanded these servants, to whom he had given the money, to be called to him. That he might know how much every man had gained by trading.

This wonderful parable means that our Creator has given every person the means to put this gift to work until HE returns. The gift may not even be money but the gift of continual and persistent faith and belief such as the blind beggar who received the gift of sight for a better life. However, each gift must be treasured and used to store up treasure in the soon coming kingdom where lawlessness and thieves cannot steal (read Matthew 19:21). Sadly, the devil of this evil world has trained mankind to worship him in greed to store up treasure to give to their children. Past records indicate their offspring will likely spend it on their own greed for pleasures of this evil world. All evil pleasures will soon pass away as the return draws near.

John 14:3-4: And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to MYSELF, that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.

Historical records indicate Rome demanded a yearly gift from all provinces to the Roman Emperor as a God. However, since the religion of the Jews followed all the Commandments of God, Rome granted a reprieve to this religion. The Church of God established in 31 AD, continued to follow the religion of the Jews, the many churches the apostle Paul established was also granted this reprieve for they kept all the commands of Christ as Christian Jews. This was a perpetual covenant of God for all people. ** Philippians 4:21:23: Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren who are with me greet you. All the saints greet you, but especially those who are of Caesar’s household. The grace of Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. ** Rome ended this commanded perpetual covenant of God for all Jews after Paul’s death in Rome.

Exodus 31:16-17: Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generation as a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between ME and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.

This commandment is for mankind and is not just about a weekly Sabbath, it is the opening of six more High Sabbath commands as holy feasts of the Lord as commanded in Leviticus 23:2: …The feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are MY feasts. ** Christ was crucified as the Lamb of God the day before the high day of Passover. This day was a High Sabbath as proclaimed by the Apostle John 19:31: Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews’ asked Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

With broken legs they could no longer push up to breath and would quickly die. Of Course the Messiah was dead to buy back our lives from the devil and according to scripture no bones were broken (Psalm 34:20 and 22:14-18).

Mankind was created for everyone to become royalty in the perfect kingdom as part of the one royal family of our God of one ** Hebrews 11:40: God having provided something better for us that they should not be made perfect apart from us. ** Many in obedient wisdom choose the knowledge of good and have courageously developed His image of beauty by perpetual growth in the spirit of hope, compassion, joy, reverence, faith and love.
