2 Peter 3:8: NKJV: But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day (Psalm 90:4, also).

The beloved the Apostle Peter spoke with tenderness and compassion is the beloved of the Lord. The apostle would have used the Hebrew word for beloved which is yedid 3039. This deep beloved specifically refers to God’s people that walk in His sight. Also this yedid is great concern for the ungodly mankind wretches; most of which refused then and now to accept the divine revelation of the Messiah.  Yet, he placed special emphasis on respect for those that are believers in the fullness of Godly love and His plan of salvation. This plan encompasses more than 700,000 words in the words of truth, the entire Holy Bible. Mankind cannot understand that all things of the past, present, and future are instantly before our Almighty God. Peter also reminds us to not forget the truth of the Almighty’s words which is not hidden from the eyes of those that truly love by keeping all HIS commandments.

Deuteronomy 8:11-12: Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not keeping HIS commandments, His judgments, and His statutes which I command you today. Lest --- when you have eaten and are full, and have built beautiful houses and dwell in them.

The great plenty of Canaan our Lord God was giving to HIS beloved descendants of Abraham which was sealed in blood. **Genesis 17:11: And you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between ME and you. ** This covenant sealed in blood was the same as all animal sacrifices which pointed to the pouring out of the only man with the only pure and Holy Blood without sin. This was the first coming of the Messiah. As pointed out in last week’s message the sacrifice of the Holy Lamb of God resulted in the one and only document change in the law of the first covenant (read Hebrews 7:12-14).

Beware is the Hebrew word shamar 8104 meaning to guard against, to observe, take heed and protect. The Messiah Christ Jesus used this word many times which was translated into the Greek word prosecho 4337, meaning take heed, pay attention, be cautious and apply oneself. Shortly after entering the Promised Land the children of Israel did not take heed and quickly returned to the wicked ways of greed, fear and paganism. This was just like their grumbling and unbelieving fathers. ** Exodus 14: 11: Then they said to Moses: Because there were no graves in Egypt in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt? ** Again and again, they went about walking their way instead of walking the way of Yahweh, the Lord our God. Again and again, most of the entire world walks with the devil instead of our One and only Eternal One God. About 4,000 years has elapsed since the covenant with Abraham was sealed in blood when he was ninety-nine years old (see Genesis 17:1).

1 Peter 4:17: For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

Judgment begins within the house of God. The Hebrew word for house is bayit 1004, meaning family or household. Not all in the household or family of God are to receive divine favor.  Destruction for many is described in Joshua 7:14: In the morning therefore you shall be brought according to your tribes. And it shall be that the tribe which the Lord takes shall come according to families; and the family which the Lord takes shall come by households; and the household which the Lord takes shall come man by man. * Verse 24- 25: Then Joshua, and all Israel with him, took A’chan the son of Ze’rah, the silver, the garment, the wedge of gold, his sons, his daughters, his oxen, his donkeys, his sheep, his tent, and all that he had, and they brought them to the Valley of A’chor. And Joshua said: Why have your troubled us? The Lord will trouble you this day. So all Israel stoned him with stones; and they burned them with fire after they had stoned them with stones. ** The entire family perished for the family had to witness A’chan burying the stolen treasure in his tent.  The entire family knew A ‘Chan’s disobedience in causing the death of 36 men (verse 5) by stealing from the treasury of the Lord (Joshua 6:19). Many in this age steal from the Lord as described in Jeremiah 23:32: Behold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams, says the Lord, and tell them, and cause MY people to err by their lies and by their recklessness. Yet I did not send them or command them; therefore they shall not profit this people at all, says the Lord. ** Malachi 3:8-10: Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed ME! But you say: In what way have we robbed YOU? In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed ME, even this whole nation.

Many within the family of God know the end times are rapidly approaching for the return of the Messiah, Christ Jesus. Many brilliant men also know the end times are soon approaching. Soon after two nuclear warheads were dropped on Japan in 1945, a doomsday clock was devised to end the time of the manmade devil’s clock which begins at midnight. The clock of our creator always begins each day at sunset and ends at sunset (Genesis 1:5). The doomsday clock is now ticking at 5 minutes to midnight, the beginning of the devil’s clock. The devil is steadily developing the minds of brilliant men to change things their way, meaning his way and not the way of our Eternal Lord God.

Is it a coincidence that the 10 tribes of Israel was dispersed, intermarried and mingled throughout the known world 136 years before the fall of Jerusalem in 536 BC?  These 10 tribes never returned . Only Judah and Benjamin returned from Babylon but were later dispersed in 70 AD. Most of the 7 billion people in the world today are a seed of Abraham. This includes about 2 billion Muslims who are also his seed. Is it a coincidence that one day is as a thousand years with our Lord?  This day is about four thousand years since our Eternal Lord God established a covenant with Abraham.

Luke 4:4: But Jesus answered him, saying: It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God (Deuteronomy 8:3).  ** God’s punishment is soon coming. Only those who have turned fully to our Lord God will be spared. ** Ezekiel 36: 35: So they will say: This land that was desolate has become like the Garden of Eden; and the wasted, desolate, and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited. Verse 36…I, the Lord, have spoken it, and I will do it. ** Infuse your mind and spirit with the Eternal God of love and life. Repent; make a covenant sign with the Eternal by immersion of water. Daily ask HIS help to do HIS will. Repent and…

Be blessed until we meet again!
