Test of Faith

Genesis 22:1-3: NKJV: Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him: Abraham! And he said: Here I am. Then HE said: Take your son, you only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Mo-ri’ah, and offer him here as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you. So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him.

Hebrews 11:17-19: By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said: In Isaac your seed shall be called: (Genesis 21:12), concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.

In a figurative sense our Eternal God did raise Isaac from the dead as follows: Genesis 22:13-14: Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide (Jehovah-Ji-reh); as it is said to this day, In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided. ** Mankind often endures trials but never seemingly tragic as slaughtering your only son and burning him as a sacrificial lamb. The order to sacrifice Isaac (meaning laughter) was quickly countermanded: Verse 12: And He said: Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from ME. ** Fearing the wrath of our Eternal Lord God with complete willingness to serve with honor was gratefully applauded in the saying: Now I know that you fear God.

Hebrews 6:10: For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward HIS name…..Verse 13: For when God made a promise to Abraham, because HE could swear by no one greater (for HE is one God and there is none other) HE swore by Himself, saying: Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you (Your descendants *Genesis 22:17). **

Our Eternal Lord God blessed all mankind who became the seed of Abraham by being a doer in complete willingness in serving and honoring our Creator and completely following all HIS commands.

Isaiah 7:14-15: Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel (God with us). Curds and honey HE shall eat, that HE may know to refuse the evil (representing the devil) and choose the good (representing God). ** The sacrifice of the lamb our God provided Abraham represents the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ who was sacrificed to wash away the sins of mankind. This was unlike Adam and Eve in the Garden who chose the tree of knowledge representing the evil of the devil instead of the good which is the correct path into the eternal Kingdom of God.  Since the only son of God born of woman, refused evil (unlike all other descendants of Adam); once He followed the instructions of the Father completely, HE returned to heaven to become one with the Eternal Father with one accord.

Acts 2:1: When the Day of Pentecost had fully come; they were all with one accord in one place. Verse 5: And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews devout men, from every nation under heaven. (Including proselytes meaning converted gentiles *verse 10) ** Just as these many thousands were gathered with one accord as one mind and one spirit, so will many millions become one with the Eternal One when the new heaven and new earth is soon established on the holy mountain of Jerusalem (Mount Olives) where the Lord-will-provide and make all things new pure, holy, without sin, sickness or death. This will be the soon coming holy mountain of the Lord of eternal peace and joy as prophesied by the Prophet Zechariah.

Zechariah 9:10-11: I (Eternal One God of one accord) will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem; the battle bow shall be cut off. He shall speak peace to the nations; His dominion shall be from sea to sea and from the River (Euphrates) to the ends of the earth. As for you also, because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit (death). ** When our Eternal Father entered Jerusalem triumphantly as a lowly man riding on a donkey (Messiah, Christ Jesus *Luke 19:35-38) He humbly rode a donkey and did not ride in the kingly horse drawn chariot. The soon coming Kingdom will be set up without carnal weapons of warfare and the expanded family within the first resurrection to preach peace with one accord from sea to shining sea to all the nations. Most will hear and understand to keep all the commandments. The devil can no longer blind the truth of God, but will become the prisoner of our Creator for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:2). Most of this evil world in this era does not keep all God’s commandments of love as prophesied by the Gospel of Mark.

Mark 7:7: And in vain (worthless) they worship ME, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. Verse 9: He (Christ) said to them: All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition. ** The tradition of man has multiplied since Christ spoke these words. Now mankind ignores the commanded 7th day Sabbath including HIS 7 Feasts (My feasts * Leviticus 23:2:41). As it is in heaven now, these will become the eternal law along with all commanded 10 commandments in the soon coming new heaven and earth.  ** Revelation 3:10: Because you have kept MY command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

Psalm 51:16-17: For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; you do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite (grieving and penitent) heart---These, O God, You will not despise. ** Now is the time to break your evil spirit and grieve your sins to the Eternal God so you may live forever and ever.

Be blessed with delight until we meet again!
