The Tables of the Heart

1 Corinthians 10:1-5 ** Moreover brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea. All were baptized into Moses (as followers of) in the cloud and in the sea. All ate the same spiritual (and miraculous) food, and all drank the same spiritual (and miraculous) drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ. But with most of them God was not well pleased, for their bodies were scattered (destroyed) in the wilderness.

Psalm 40:8 ** I delight to do your will, O my God, and YOUR law is within my heart. (Also 2 Corinthians 3:3b, KJV). ** The children of Israel were witness to the awesome power of God but quickly lost their faith and belief. Just as many in this crumbling world today believes that God will do everything they want but do not have adequate faith that our Lord God will do what is right. What is right then, now and in the coming Kingdom is to follow his rules, HIS instructions, HIS commands. The Apostle Paul stated all our fathers were under the cloud including gentiles.  This means all, even you, can be redeemed by God to stay out of the slavery of this wicked world. Let us examine the very first command our Lord God spoke and wrote in stone at Sinai.

Exodus 20:2-3 ** I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage (slavery). You shall have no other gods before ME”.  ** The first line does not seem like a command. Yet it foretells all believers then and now that you were purchased with a high price and brought out of the bondage of slavery to sin (Satan). You were purchased (Acts 20:28) with blood to feed the Church of God by the Holy Lamb, Christ Jesus, who is Messiah. A few redeemed return to the Master as a slave to HIS marvelous creation. That is you, if you truly love HIM and abide in HIM.  More marvelous wonders are in store in the new Kingdom. This will be the few chosen redeemed that abide, love and sacrifice as the Lamb, Christ Jesus, who earned HIS glory by abiding in Father God. As Father God builds HIS family, the son, the earthly speaker of God, has promised to make you HIS brothers, sisters and mothers. Mark 3:35 says: For whoever does the will of God is MY brother and MY sister and mother. Matthew 12:50 speaks the same with ‘God in heaven’ added. The will of the father is obedience in abiding by all HIS commands, including the Ten. Of course this can only be accomplished by constantly asking the Holy Spirit for help. That is why the Holy Spirit is called the Helper. Again in Matthew 19:17 the words of Christ: If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.

Disobedience to the very first commandment is the greatest sin against our Lord God. Most of the world is puffed up with leavened sin. The world does not truly believe the I Am released all true believers which have been rescued from slavery in Egypt. The world believes this verse applies only to the children of Israel. As the world turns, so do the inhabitants turn against God by trampling on this first commandment which leads into all the other commandments in the tables of their heart? **Exodus 12:14 ** “So this day (Passover) shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord throughout your generations. You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance”.  ** Satan’s world is blinded and cannot see this powerful truth that will continue forever into the soon coming Kingdom of our blessed Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting (Psalm 106:48). ** James 2:10 ** .For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. ** The entire world continues to teach the pagan traditions not in scripture. Christ Jesus remarked in Mark 7:6-7: Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: This people honor ME with their lips, but their heart is far from ME. And in vain they worship ME, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. ** Hypocrisy/hypocrite means stage or play acting. Most of this evil world continues to play act their beliefs which are manmade and not in scripture and the truth is not to be found. Matthew 16:6 speaks clearly, saying: Then Jesus said to them, “Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees”. ** These two dominant teachers of the law made up their own hypocritical traditions of play acting.  The leaven in bread causes it to rise representing sinful disobedience to the law of our Lord God. This is why only few of the Messiah’s present day disciples try to show their obedience in obeying scripture by casting out leavening from their homes for seven days following Passover.

Leviticus 23:6 ** “And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the Lord; seven days you must eat unleavened bread”. ** Verse 14b: …It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. ** When I was a child, I enjoyed and followed the traditions of men by celebrating the Easter Pageant. Pageant means a scene of a play/pretense which is laden with leaven and sin of the world which is manmade belief not in scripture and the truth of the Lord cannot be found. The hypocritical traditions of playacting taught by the two controlling teachers of the law were condemned repeatedly by Jesus Christ. Historical records of that era indicate more than twenty different Jewish denominations additional not mentioned in scripture. The rise of the leaven, representing sin has now risen to more than a hundredfold different denominations claiming to be Christian. Each has its own play acting traditions and the truth of the Lord which cannot lie is not found in HIS scripture. **2 Thessalonians 2:9-10 ** The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan with all power, signs and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. ** Verse 13b: …Because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification (made holy) by the spirit and belief in the truth. ** 2 Corinthians 3:3b: …The Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.** Believe the truth of God’s word, repent, be baptized and be made holy by constantly asking for the helping hand of the Spirit.                                                                              Visit:
