Unprofitable Servants

Luke 17:9-10 ** Jesus said: Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not. . So likewise you, when you have done all these things which you are commanded say, ‘we are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do’.

Of course, our God honors our service. At HIS soon return, the faithful will be honored (Luke 12:37). Jesus Christ, currently, the only true holy son actually fathered by the Holy Spirit documented in Luke 1:35, wants us to become servants, like Him. John 13:3-5 is a perfect example of how to become a true servant. The day before the commanded feast of Passover, Jesus the Passover unleavened, Holy and sinfree Lamb, humbled Himself after the Passover meal to wash the dirty feet of the disciples.  Jesus Christ correctly followed Father God’s commanded yearly Passover Sabbath. This seasonal yearly Sabbath begins at sundown/twilight on A’ bib /Nissan14, after killing the animal lamb.  (Exodus 12:6, Joshua 5:1, Luke 22:7 &11). Mark 14:14-17 describes how the Passover meal was prepared before the evening meal. Mark 14: 17-18 states: In the evening HE (God’s Lamb, Yeshua, Christ Jesus, who is our Messiah), came with the twelve. Now as they sat and ate, Jesus said, “Assuredly, I say to you, one of you who eats with ME will betray ME”.

1 Corinthians 5:7-8 ** .Therefore purge out the old leaven (sins), that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, (it is the Lord’s Passover *Exodus 12:11 * Forever, Exodus 12:14), not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

We demonstrate casting out leavened bread and keeping the feast each year as the Israelites, the Prophets, the Apostles and the disciples of the Lord. Only a few true disciples of the Lord keep the feast in this age. The Apostle Paul advised the Corinthians to follow in the Messiah’s desire before HE suffered (Luke 22:14) to cast out malice and wickedness and keep the unleavened bread/without sin as all HIS commandments of sincerity and truth. These commandments begin with the Ten Commandments to demonstrate how the entire world is wicked, lawless and leavened with sin. None can become righteous without the guidance of the Holy Spirit which arrived with the new added covenant and agreement on the commanded Holy Sabbath, Pentecost (Feast of Weeks *Acts 2:1, Leviticus 23:15 &16). Sadly, the world since creation continues to follow the wicked god and fallen angels of this evil world.

Psalm 27:11-12 ** Teach me YOUR way, O Lord, and lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies (Satan’s current blinded teachers). Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen against me, and such as breathe out violence.

We must constantly ask our Lord God to help us walk as the Messiah walked and taught. This becomes our narrow smooth path against the lumpy wide leavened and sinful path of Satan and his fallen angels.  We must embrace David’s pattern of faith and endurance. Even in the face of attack, suffering, sickness and other disabilities, we must align our faith and trust in the Lord.  Do not be like most of mankind which rushes frantically about trying to do everything on their own. This is a form of atheism which denies the activity of our Lord God in most lives.

1 John 4:8 ** He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. The Apostle Paul advises that love fulfills the law in Galatians 5:14, saying: For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself’ * Leviticus 19:18, also   ** If mankind possessed the eternal compassionate love of the Messiah, the world would not be in a rapid downhill spiral of hate which leads to death. If mankind kept the rules and commandments of God’s love, such as His Holy Sabbaths instead of the first day Sabbath of Satan, the likelihood of peace and joy forever, looms just over the hilltop.

To reach the soon coming new world, we must constantly renew our spiritual vitality. Hebrews 12:12-14 advises: Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed. Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. **

Satan, the current god of this wicked world has converted the entire world into a state of confusion and hate. Our Lord God is not a God of confusion, but of love who trains those that follow the narrow straight path leading into HIS Kingdom that keeps all the commandments of love, beginning with the Ten written in stone by the finger of God *Deuteronomy 9:10 *. This discipline of training endures until the day we die, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God *Romans 3:23. Even after repenting in tears of sorrow and being baptized into a new spiritual birth, we stumble as a little child. Without remaining faithful in spiritual touch with our Heavenly father, holiness can only be achieved by doing the will of Father God as in Matthew 7:21b. For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness *1 Thessalonians 4: 7.

In mercy (compassionate love of God) the throne will be established and ONE (Christ Jesus) will sit on it in truth, in the tabernacle of David, judging and seeking justice and hastening righteousness (Isaiah 16:5). ** Our Lord God is rich in pity to all who desire to receive his rich compassionate love of mercy for salvation. Zacharias, John the Baptist’s father, prophesied in Luke 1:72 advising: To perform the mercy promised to our fathers and to remember HIS holy covenant. ** Much of today’s world does not know they are likely descendants of the scattered 10 tribes of Jacob. Yet, even if you are a full blooded Apache Indian, the love of the ‘Great Spirit’ is still our loving Heavenly Father and desires salvation for all. Psalm 95:7-8: For HE is our God, and we are the people of HIS pasture, and the sheep of HIS hand. Today, if you will hear HIS voice ‘Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion’ as in the day of trial in the wilderness. **

Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit * Acts 2:38.
