Bread of Life

John 6:48-51 **: I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and are dead. This is the bread which comes down from heaven that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever, and the bread that I shall give is MY flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.

Yeshua, the Messiah Christ Jesus identified HIS body as the spiritual and holy sacrificial Lamb of God to be sacrificed to take away the sins of many in the world that truly believe in HIM by walking and becoming holy as HE walked. HE is the true unleavened bread that came down from heaven. The manna from heaven given to the children for forty years in the wilderness, pointed to the coming of this same Messiah from heaven. Christ was unleavened which represents without sin; for HE was fathered by the Spirit of God and called the ‘Son of God’ (Luke 1:35).   **Our Lord God escorted the Israelites, numbering about 600,000 men (Exodus 12:37) who marched quickly but proudly out the door of their dwelling with dough containing no leavening.  The Angel of the Lord in Luke 1:37 said: For with God nothing will be impossible. ** This represented the birth of Jesus (Savior), the Lamb, the son of God, the unleavened that was born, lived and sacrificed without leaven, without sin.  Leavening represents the sin of this fallen world. Why do we eat unleavened bread on this day? This is one of the questions a Jewish child will ask as his family is gathered on Passover. The answer is Exodus 12:34 &39. Surely, if our God can deliver his children from 430 years of slavery and the jaws of death with dignity, HE is able to deliver our souls from this evil world with dignity and the promised hope of life.  Our Lord freed HIS hurting children from the grip of death who were shackled in sin in that age. HE will also deliver those in this age that love HIM. Freedom is at hand now from the grip of sin, to feed, clothe and comfort those that hunger and thirst. In Matthew 5:6, Christ said: Blessed are those that hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

Genesis 19:3 ** But he (Lot, in Sodom) insisted strongly; so they (2 angels of the Lord) turned in to him and entered his house. Then he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.  ** This is the first mention of unleavened bread (without sin)  in the bible and the angels from heaven did eat the bread of life as an indication that Lot and his family would live to be unshackled from the surrounding wickedness. Lot and his family were rescued while the wicked Sodom perished. People that truly honor God in the truth of the bible will always be few. People in past and present ages have never taken the time in this discipline since the motivations in the needs of this evil world prevail. Confession of errors committed against our brothers and sisters is the correct path to interpersonal healing. Moses, Elijah, Daniel and Christ Jesus identified themselves with the wickedness of all people surrounding them and afar.

James 5:16** Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. ** In prison ministry, I regularly pray for everyone within the confines. I always pray at the beginning of each service and call upon the Lord to open the hearts and minds of the souls being addressed. Many of the prisoners also pray fervently for the soul writing this message.  Even as I leave the Chapel, I generally witness to 2 patiently waiting gardeners by giving them a copy of that day’s message. In turn, one in gratitude will periodically ask if he can pray for me. He fervently does so.

As I pray for the hearts and minds of the souls being addressed, their fervent prayers have reached to heaven. The truth from heaven has opened my heart and mind to a fatal error. I have sinned before heaven and the many souls I think I am teaching the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Instead of repenting in dust and ashes (Job 42:6), I repent in tears of sorrow. It is the vain worldly teaching and practice which cannot be found in the bible. It is called sacrament or Eucharist. The holy word of God commands us to worship the Passover which gives life with the blood of the lamb, Yeshua, the Messiah Christ Jesus which is celebrated once yearly on A’ bib/Nisan 14 * Exodus 12:6, Numbers 9:5, Joshua 5:10).

1 Corinthians 11:26-27 **. For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till HE comes. Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. ** Christ celebrated HIS death early since the traditional Passover Lamb would not be killed until 3 PM the next day. This coincides with the death of the Passover Lamb of God.  And the Lord has laid on HIM the iniquity of us all (Isaiah 53:6). When you proclaim the Lord’s death as the Passover lamb each year; you celebrate HIS death to give you life. In 1 Corinthians 10:16, Paul mentions communion with the cup of blessing and breaking of bread. This is reference to the annual Jewish feast of the Lord God. In verse 21, his reference is to the cup of the Lord mixed with the cup of demons. Satan, the God of this temporary and fallen world (2 Corinthians 4:4) has blinded mankind to sacrifice to demons in regularity.

Exodus 22:20 ** He who sacrifices to any god except to the Lord only, he shall be utterly destroyed. ** .Just as a few in the true Church of God celebrate this commanded feast annually, the world celebrates another god (Satan) regularly and is guilty of the body and blood of the Lord by taking sacrament, Eucharist or communion. This is worship in vain. This tramples in filth the third commandment (Exodus 20:7). Vain is frequently translated from the Greek word kenos meaning empty or foolish worship.  A more strong translation in Acts 14:15, KJV, for vanities is translated as mataios meaning idolatrous practice/idol worship. Please don’t continue in foolish/silly worship and even worshiping idols. Repent again in tears of sorrow, obey, trust, be baptized and believe!  Ask God to help you overcome so you can be rewarded with life!                                                                Visit:
