II Samuel 22:8-9: “Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven quaked and were shaken, because HE was angry (highly incensed, wrathful, wroth). Smoke went up from HIS nostrils and devouring fire from HIS mouth; Coals were kindled by it”.

Exodus 19:1 ** in the third month after the children of Israel hand gone out of the land of Egypt, on the same day, they came to the Wilderness of Sinai. Then God spoke to Moses in verse five, saying: Now therefore, if you will indeed obey MY voice and keep MY covenant (Ten Commandments), then you shall be a special treasure in ME above all people, for all the earth is MINE.  Verse 8: Then all the people answered together and said: All that the Lord has spoken we will do. So Moses brought the words of the people to the Lord. Verse 16: Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thundering and lightning, and a thick cloud on the mountain, and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled. Verse 18: Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly (earthquake).  ** And God spoke all these words of the contract which all agreed.  Chapter twenty is the agreed contract for mankind (Ten Commandments). Now all the people witnessed the thundering, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off (Exodus 20:18). The quaking (earthquake) of the mountain caused the people to tremble in fear, even as greater earthquakes with greater frequency are now occurring. This is Bible prophesy spoken by Yeshua, Jesus Christ, the Messiah in Mark 13:8, saying, “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And here will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows”.

Hebrews 12:25-29 ** See that you do not refuse HIM who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused HIM who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from HIM who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now HE has promised, saying, “Once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven”. Now this, yet once more, indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire”.

I Samuel 2:6 ** The Lord kills and makes alive; HE brings down to the grave and brings up. Verse nine: HE will guard the feet of HIS saints, but the wicked shall be silent in darkness. ** This prayer praise and gratitude of barren Hannah who dedicated and gave her firstborn son, Samuel to the Lord. Hannah made this promise in 1 Samuel 1:11, saying,”…..I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head.” ** Hannah’s prayer is closely repeated in praise and gratitude in the song of David in II Samuel chapter 22 for his deliverance from all his enemies and the hand of Saul. David repeated this song in Psalm 18, adding in verse 22, “For all HIS judgments (Devine decree of giving punishment such as life or death) were before me, and I did not put away HIS statutes (Laws of authority) from me.

1 Samuel 28:3: Now Samuel had died, and all Israel had lamented for him and buried him in Ramah, in his own city. And Saul had put the mediums and the spiritists out of the land.

The deliverance of David from his enemies and the hand of Saul were surely to be praised.  God turned his back on King Saul and in terror and despair he turned to the forbidden use of occult (supernatural agencies and powers of deceit by Satan). Using the deceit of Satan, Saul inquired of the Medium at En’dor. He requested she bring up the recently deceased Samuel (I Samuel 28:11). When the medium described the spirit (a demon masquerading as Samuel, since only the power of God can bring up the dead such as Jesus, as well as Moses and Elijah at the transfiguration in Mark 9:2-9. Matthew 17:2-9). The demon spirit, speaking to the witch, instilled greater terror in King Saul (I Samuel 28:17-18) by truthfully telling him, saying, “…For the Lord has torn the kingdom out of your hand and given it to your neighbor, David. Because you did not obey the voice of the Lord nor execute HIS wrath upon Am’-a-lek, therefore the Lord has done this thing to you this day (I Samuel 28:17-18).”

The many kingdoms’ of this world with their inhabitants will soon be torn from their hand as the wrath of our Lord increases. Most of mankind in this age does not obey the voice of the Lord as HE personally spoke the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai. Salvation has slipped away from many who refuse the love our Lord God with outstretched hands. Isaiah 65:2 proclaims: “I have stretched out MY hands all day long to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, according to their own thoughts”.

James 4:17 ** Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him is sin. ** James had been talking about the evils of boasting and bragging. This revealed a mindset to make money which is more important than searching the scriptures to discover that our Lord God wishes to spend time with HIS family of God. We honor our Lord by devoting time with HIM and sharing with those in need.  By dishonoring our Lord in disobedience, this pushes HIM to quickly bring increased prophesied wrath.

Joel 3:15-17 **. The sun and moon will grow dark, and the stars will diminish their brightness. The Lord also will roar from Zion, and utter HIS voice from Jerusalem; the heaven and earth will shake, but the Lord will be a shelter for HIS people, and the strength of the children of Israel.” So you shall know that I am the Lord your God, dwelling in Zion MY holy mountain. Then Jerusalem shall be holy, and no aliens shall ever pass through her again”. ** Nahum 1:7: The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble. And HE knows those who trust in HIM!

Christ said: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in ME, the works that I do he will do also… (John 14:12). ** “If you love ME, keep MY commandments. (John 14:15). For the people that keep the commandments, Christ promises the Holy Spirit, the Helper, in the next verse saying: HE may abide with you forever.  Verse 17: The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive…. ** Seek the Lord while HE may be found (Isaiah 55:6). Repent and humble yourself before God!
