Creature of God

1 Timothy 4:4 ** For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with Thanksgiving: for it is sanctified (made holy) by the Word of God and prayer.

The apostle Paul wrote this message to Timothy to teach sound doctrine to the newly established Church of God in Ephesus. Sound doctrine would be to cast off the false teachers that had infiltrated the Church (1 Timothy 1:4) teaching myths and genealogies. These teachings took away the love of which comes from a pure heart, good conscience and sincere faith. Verse 7-8 advises, saying, “(false teachers) Desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm. But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully. In addition, the false teachers prohibited marriage and the eating of certain foods (verse 4:3). This false doctrine was later instituted by the later church which changed all the rules, specifically the eating of meat for forty days before Passover (Lent). Passover worshipped by Jesus Christ, all the disciples and the newly established Church of God. Easter is a man made holiday of pagan origin, and the only time mentioned in the Holy Bible is in Acts 12:4 (KJV only) which incorrectly translates the Greek spelling of the Aramaic word for Passover (Pascha). May Father God have mercy on this twisted world of the Devil we live in?

1 Timothy 4:12 ** Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in the Word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. ** Timothy was a youthful struggling church leader who was overwhelmed by the desire of the people to return to worshiping the greedy way of Balaam to change the Holy Word of God back to paganism.  Jude 11 says, “Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain (first murderer), have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah (A son of Esau, Genesis 36:5).”  ** In 1 Timothy 4:7-8, Paul instructs the youthful church leader to train this earthly body for godliness, whereby, growth in Christ is not automatic but requires discipline and training in the Holy Word of the entire Bible. It is good to devote time to physical fitness, but most people are spiritually weak, ineffective and even flabby. Without the nourishment of the Holy Scriptures in Bible Study, intercessory prayer, witnessing, obedience, worship and intently listening to godly servants that study and know the Bible, we will surely wither and die. Sadly, most people of this world think they truly believe, but with flabby faith and doing opposite the will of God, they continue down the wide path of Cain, Balaam and Korah. Humble yourself before God and ask forgiveness and strength to overcome the wicked demons of this world.

Isaiah 60:1 ** Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the lord is raised (risen) upon you.

The Holy light and glory of the Lord will come upon those that truly humble themselves, ask forgiveness for their sins and request HIS strength to overcome the wickedness of the demons of this world. Many demons are often sitting next to you in church or even speaking false doctrines behind the pulpit (2 Corinthians 4:4, 2 Thessalonians 2:4). Paul reminds mankind that the son of perdition (Satan) exalts himself above all that is called God so that he sits as God in the temple (churches), showing himself that he is God. Many highly exalted ministers pursue ministry as a means for financial gain. This pollutes the message and truths of the gospel. Paul placed emphasis on this in First Timothy 6:10, saying, “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in the greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

One of the recent sorrows of this age is the great messianic pretender from Oklahoma (Hulon Mitchell Jr.).  After serving prison time for racketeering with implication of more than a dozen murders, he preached that all black descendants of slaves were from the tribe of Judah. He changed his name to Yahweh Ben Yahweh (God son of God). In seven years his empire amassed $250 million with supporters in 16 foreign countries and 1,300 cities in the U.S. He died at age 72 in 2007 after Journalist Sydney P. Freed berg (Brother Love: Murder, Money and a Messiah), reported on his association of beheading, beatings and other sordid activities.

My youngest sister once informed me that if it is not in the Bible, we probably should not do it. This twisted world ignores Bible truths and has become an association of the Son of Perdition (Satan) that turns a blind eye to beheading, beatings and other sordid activities. Brotherly love has grown cold and true love of Father God nears extinction. Paul reminds us that all who are under the yoke of slavery (entire world) should consider their masters (even prison guards) worthy of full respect so that God’s name and our teaching may not be slandered (First Timothy 6:1).

Repent, obey, trust, believe, then repeatedly ask Father God for help in overcoming the loves and hatred of this fallen world!  Be blessed until we meet again!
