The Good Shepherd 5

Psalm 23:5 **. YOU prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; YOU anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.

The table the Lord has prepared for those that love HIM by keeping all His commandments is good. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in HIM (Psalm 34:8)!  The table is so blessed that you will never hunger or thirst again. A popular song reminds us that when we have been there ten thousand years, we have no less days to sing God’s praise than when we first begun. Once we have become adopted into the family of God we have received the spirit of adoption to sit at the Lord’s table, away from sin; whereby we cry Abba, Father for we are no longer in bondage to the evil god of this world. (Romans 8:14-16).  Verse 17 tells us we are joint-heirs with Christ. However, we must continue to obey the rules, laws covenant, agreement and constitution written in stone.

Just as the Constitution of the United States was written with additions and even rescinding laws; so was the Covenant of our Creator. When we search the entire Bible, we find that our Lord only rescinded a Law of Man (Moses). Once the Holy Passover Lamb of God, Messiah, Y’shua Christ Jesus, poured out HIS blood to wash away our sins in atonement; there was no longer a need to kill animals for Christ Jesus became the eternal High Priest of God (1 Peter 2:5, Hebrews 10:21).  Mankind now has the privilege to enter the Holiest of the Most High since the new veil is the flesh of the Messiah Christ Jesus. However, if we sin willfully, after we have received the knowledge of the truth there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins (Hebrews 10:26).

As long as we continue to drink and eat fully with the spirit of the Lord, we have the opportunity to enter into the new Kingdom which will soon be established in Zion. Just as the yearly seven Feasts (Leviticus 23:5-43, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Hebrews 9:28, 10:4 and Zechariah 14:16) are enjoyed by many sons and daughters currently on this earth, the feasts at the table of the Lord will continue forever.

This entire world is currently an enemy of God until the return of the Messiah, Y’shua Christ.

Jude 21-24**   Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but other save from fear, pulling them out of the fire…… Now to HIM who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of HIS glory with exceeding joy. ** The prescribed feasts of our Lord currently honored by many represents the eternal seven feasts the Lord prepares at the presence HIS table. We keep our worldly bodies in the love of God as the Messiah explained in keeping the Ten Commandments of love (Matthew 19:17). As we walk in this love we present our presence to others to save them from fear of the coming fire. When we walk in love, we surely stumble from time to time. Yet, the Messiah; Y’shua Christ Jesus will help you become faultless without sin which has been cleansed with HIS Holy blood which came down from heaven. With great joy you will be presented to His Abba, Father to sit at a banquet, an elaborate ceremonious meal truly out of this world. This will be a never ending feast of joy, peace and happiness.

Through repentance, prayer, baptism and right thinking we can achieve casting out the hate that destroys life. Our heart and our mind are transformed with love as the law of our life. Within the presence of God’s Law we have the new spirit from our God in heaven and not the spirit of hate from the god of this evil world which rules and ruins the life of most of mankind. Once we cast out the adversary of this world which is Satan; we have the hope of attaining the feast of life as a forever gift in the presence of Father God in heaven.

A poor shepherd boy called David had his head anointed to become King of Israel circa 1400 B.C. As a good shepherd, David undoubtedly periodically anointed the heads of his flock with oil to prevent the torment of insects.  Even to this day, shepherds anoint their sheep around the head openings to give relief and peace to the flock. Without this anointing to provide protection, the helpless animals would grind and dash their head in sand, rocks or trees to seek relieve. Without the gentle care of a good shepherd the sheep would literally be tormented unto death.

Each sheep of our lord is anointed with growing love and knowledge as a free gift of grace from God in Christ.  As the sheep continue to grow in love and increased faith, truth and grace, the anointed become ordained fully into the family of God. As the sheep of the Good Shepherd reach higher in faith, the grace of the Good Shepherd is poured down to give peace, contentment and forgiveness in the oil (James 4:6, Hebrew 4:16). The removal of turmoil, bitterness, conflict and frustration lead to the high tableland of rich feed and peace. The spirit continues to guide the sheep of the Good Shepherd into obedience of the Royal Law with the anointing and enlightenment of power which creates ordained royalty in the holy family of God. A local Church of God can shepherd you gently in this path.

Mark 14:23-24 **. Then HE (Passover Lamb of God) took the cup, and when HE had given thanks, He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. And HE said to them, “This is MY blood of the new covenant (amendment of the Law of Moses), which is shed for many”.   ** According to the Gospel of Mark in 9:41, when you belong to Christ and give even a cup of water to those that thirst, you shall not lose your reward. Your reward is that as a member of the family of the Good Shepherd, we shall never thirst in His eternal Kingdom of care.  George Washington said, “It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible”. ** Only by the name of Jesus Christ……… “Nor is there salvation by any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” ** Give you heart, your body and your soul to the only one God Now!  Ask HIM to restore and anoint your soul to be led and cared for by the Messiah, Christ Jesus (Good Shepherd) into his everlasting sheepfold!
