Another Jesus Now

2 Corinthians 11:3:4 ** But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he who comes (Adversary of God, Satan) preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted --- you may well put up with it (you may well believe it)!

Our Lord shocked the Apostle Paul who was trying to destroy the new Church (Congregation) of God; the new Church Jesus was building. By striking and shocking Paul with blindness on the road to Damascus, the shocked Paul quickly turned to the truth of the Gospel that Messiah, Y’shua Christ Jesus is one body, one Church, not hundreds of different contradicting churches that think they are right with God. Satan started planting his corrupt teachings even as Paul preached to the Greeks in the church of God in Corinth, a bustling trading port of 100,000 in that era. In verses 13-15, Paul reminds us saying, “For such (men) are false apostles, deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into minister of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

1 John 5:19-20 **. We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one (Satan, the Devil). And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true, and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

True Christians who have been ‘Born of God’ are fully under His protection from the Devil. The True Christian does not engage in willful denial of God and the Messiah, Y’shua Christ Jesus for this denial leads to death! When True Christians become one with Christ Jesus our will has been transformed to His. Our Lord steps deeply into our lives and we know that when we pray to Him, we have complete confidence that our prayers will come to pass. Answered prayers of   true Christians ‘born of God’ are sometimes immediate. At other times, the Holy Spirit weighs what is best for His children and what is the repercussion concerning the recipient. Frequently, the recipient of the prayer is a child of the Devil who is worshiping another Jesus (the Devil, adversary of God).

The testimony of Christ Jesus in John, Chapter 8 documents further truth and validity of His Royalty. In verse 23-24, He says, “You are from beneath: I am from above. You are of this world: I am not of this world. Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” ** In that verse, Christ was telling the teachers of the law (today, many clergy) that they are of this world, which worships the Devil, therefore the penalty for sin is death. On this final day of the feast of tabernacles, Jesus was teaching in the treasury located within the court of women. He was standing under the light of 16 lighted bowls of oil. The Apostle John portrayed the embodiment of God’s presence in the world as ‘The Light of the world’. It is no coincidence that
‘light’ is used 16 times in the Book of John. Without taking up the cross and following the Messiah, Y’shua Christ Jesus and continually search the scriptures to discover the truths of this light; judgment for most of mankind is the second death sentence; soon to take place.

Isaiah 6:9-10 ** And He (God) said, “Go, and tell this people; keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive. Make the heart of this people dull and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart and return and be healed.  ** Our God used His Messiah, Y’shua Christ Jesus to say these words again in Matthew 13:15. Prior to these words, Jesus used parables telling of the coming Kingdom of God. Knowledge and understanding of the parables is given primarily to the poor and needy, which listen, hear, study and ‘do’ the Word (Bible). However, the God of this world and father of liars has blinded mankind since the Garden of Eden.

Satan’s greatest desire and pleasure is to be worshipped. In Matthew 4:9, he promised Jesus all the kingdoms of the world if, ‘you fall down and worship me’. Jesus quoted the first of the Ten Commandments, saying, “You shall have no other gods before ME” (Exodus 20-3). ** Yet, because of our sinful nature, greed for riches, power and pleasure becomes easy targets for the devil to sway mankind with lying promises. In 1 John, Chapter 2 reminds us that the person that does not keep the commandments of God is a liar (verse 4), and the truth is not in him. Verse 6 tells us that if we truly have Jesus in our hearts, we should walk as He walked.  When we walk as did Christ Jesus, we come into the ‘light’ with the gift of life for we possess the true spirit of that which is true and we abide forever in the Son of Christ Jesus!
