The Church

Deuteronomy 5:29  ** Oh, that they had such a heart in them that they would fear ME (God) and always  keep all My commandments, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!

Chapter five of the book of Deuteronomy is the true beginning of our Creator God’s Church with Him personally speaking with the congregation (all Israel) with a thunderous voice out of darkness and flames. Out of fear they agreed to listen to the spoken words of man which was written in stone by the finger of God to keep His commandments.  However, because of the wicked and disobedient hearts of man that is continually swayed by the Devil, humanity continues to be disobedient to this day.

Our Creator God realized that in order to save mankind from eventually destroying himself (as today); mankind needed the coming Messiah, Y’shua Christ Jesus to establish His second church upon His arrival. He promised the New Testament (covenant) by speaking to the Prophet Jeremiah who prophesied the coming new covenant in Chapter 31, verse 33 that speaks of the new covenant to write it in our minds and hearts, saying, “I will be their God and they shall be MY people”. ** The last verse of 34, says, “For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more”.

The promise was fulfilled but still lacking in Acts 7:51, saying, “You stiff necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you”.  ** Much of the world today listen to their Pastors, Ministers, Rabbis and Priest thinking they have the word correct and they have eternal salvation with the blood of the Holy Lamb of God, but are still stiff necked and disobedient. Listen to the powerful words in the Epistle of James 2:10, which say, “For whoever shall keep the whole law, and stumble in one point, he is guilty of all”.  ** The blood of the Lamb will not continue to wash away continual disobedience, no matter how repentant, righteous and good you think you may be. Without intense study of the Word (Bible) and intense humble prayer before our Lord to understand within our own hearts what it right, good and holy, we continue on the wide road away from the eternal Kingdom of God.

The fulfillment as promised in the words of Jeremiah came fully to light with one of our Lord’s commanded holy days.  On Pentecost, God’s holy day along with true believers; the full power of the Holy Spirit rested on minds and hearts of the second Church of God that Christ Jesus started after ascending back to the throne of God. The giving of the Holy Spirit was necessary, not only to start the church, but to benefit most members of the church. Since the start of the new church mankind’s carnal mind remains evil as stated in Romans 8:7 & 10, saying, “Because the carnal mind (worldly bodily pleasure) is enmity (hate) against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can it be. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness”.  ** To become righteous as was Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, we must strive to seek God and produce fruit as the Apostle Paul described in the churches of Galatia, saying in Galatians 5:22-23, “But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law”.  ** Most people of this evil world of hate continue to be swayed by the adversary of God and certainly do not measure up to even part of this spirit of love.  Before the Lamb of God (Messiah, Y’shua Christ Jesus) painfully shed his holy and pure blood, He gave this commandment in John 13:34-35, saying, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are MY disciples, if you have love for one another”.

The Messiah has commissioned His church to preach His Word (Bible) and explain it truthfully to the entire world as explained in Matthew 28:19-20. However, the world continues to respond carnally as He explained in the parable (condensed) of the Sower (Preacher) in Mark 4:14-20, saying, “The Sower sows the word (word of God) and Satan comes and takes away the words sown in their hearts. ** verse 19 tells us that the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful”.

Revelation 19-7 ** “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory (Messiah, Y’shua Christ Jesus), for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife (the Church) has made herself ready”.  ** Now is the time to make ready for life everlasting with the Kingdom of God!
