Forever Love

Deuteronomy 6:5: ** “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength”.

The word ‘love’ is mentioned nearly 300 times throughout the bible from Genesis to Revelation. About half the prophets and apostles speak of loving the Lord your God which literally covers the first 5 of the eternal commandments written by the hand of God on Mount Sinai. The balance speaks of loving another person which literally covers the last 5 of the eternal commandments. For those that turn to the Lord, the Prophet Hosea (14:4) speaks the words of the Lord, saying, “I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, for My anger has turned away him (Israel, Ephraim and you and me). Sadly, the world continues to backslide and turn to other methods of what they think is love such as drugs, stuff, entertainment, self worship, lavish toys, lavish homes and etcetera. In effect, changing each four letter ‘love’ mentioned in the word of God to another four letter word ‘hate’.  In addition to hate, just add the words greed, selfish and jealous.

Our Creator reminds us in Exodus 20:5 saying, “….For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God……..  In explicit words only your Creator has the right to be jealous of how His children conduct themselves. We as His children can only be jealous of the Lord your God and His loving rules (laws).  A person continuing in any other form of selfish or jealous greed is not worthy to be called a child of God.

Hebrews 2:9-10 **But we see Jesus (Y’shua), who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone. For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain (Y’shua) of their (His children, those that love Him) salvation perfect through sufferings. Psalm 8 provides joyful praise and adoration of the coming Messiah. This Psalm allows us to see our flaws and weaknesses within our rebellious nature which is the cause of mankind’s immense and escalating suffering. However, the Messiah has prepared the way for us to change, to be saved from the eternal wrath of our creator. He has prepared the way for us to become ‘children of God’ (John 1:12). Verse 13 tells us the “children of God’, who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  **A more explicit translation is that the children of God are reborn, and not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but the rebirth comes from God.**  God’s children will continue to suffer as Christ suffered until all fulfillment of scriptures take place by the Prophets and Apostles. Then, as ‘children of God’, we will fully change and fully become (Elohim) gods and judges, with no more hunger, pain or suffering as worldly descendants have been since Adam and Eve suffered and died as promised (Genesis 2:17). It should be noted that Psalm 82, verse 6-7 reminds us “we are gods and children of the Most High but all must die”. However, we must make ‘about face’ and completely turn our lives over to God as obedient humble servants and follow His rules, laws and wishes as did Noah, Abraham, Job, Daniel  and many others. Note that God does not give the Holy Spirit to those that do not love Him. First John 2:5 reminds us, “But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him”.   ** The Holy Spirit must circulate in our hearts and minds, just as blood circulates in our veins. The full purpose of this short life is a test just as the children of Israel were tested. They failed miserably and perished in the wilderness. Let us not fail as they set a bad example but let us be fully obedient to our Heavenly Father and Master, for the full reward of ‘children of God’ will quickly come. The entire purpose in this short life is just to please the Master, who loves us so much; He gave His only son to die a cruel death for those willing to become alive in death as the Son set an example. The firstborn of God (Y’shua the Messiah) will have many brothers and sisters when He soon returns. Will you be one of His eternal children?

Revelation 3:19-21 ** “As many as I love, I rebuke (reprimand) and chasten (discipline). Therefore, be zealous (eager, fervor) and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne”.

Our loving Creator even now is looking down on ‘Satan’s World’ that mankind turned to sin in the Garden of Eden. However, our God has allowed the devil to play his game of evil since the beginning. As the prophesied words of truth near the end of the world as we know it, the devil will soon start his prison sentence of 1,000 years (Revelation 20-2). The Messiah, Y’shua, Christ Jesus will return to earth to restore the peace of God with His rule, His way and not the way of man that follows the destructive ways of Satan.  As every knee since creation bows before our Creator God, to most of mankind, He will likely say, “You are mine, but you act like you are your own! I not only created you, I bought you with a price! You were dead in trespass! I died in place of you! (Corinthians 6:20). I stood at the door and knocked, but you never repented and came in to me! (Revelation 3-20). You worked hard and were very tired, so I invited you to come into Me so I could give you rest. But you never came! If you had come into Me and taken My yoke (marriage of servitude and obedience), You would have learned from Me and I would give you rest for your soul. But you never came!”  ** There isn’t much time left for you to repent and surrender your life to the one and only God on High before the Messiah, Y’shua, who is Christ Jesus returns to judge you!
