The Millennium

Acts 3:19-21 **NLT) ** Now turn from your sins and turn to God, so you can be cleansed of your sins. Then wonderful times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and He will send Jesus your Messiah to you again. For He must remain in heaven until the time for the final restoration of all things, as God promised long ago through His prophets. (Deuteronomy 18: 15, 18)

The wonderful times of refreshment will come from the Lord when we repent. This is the glorious peace He provides in these terrible times of lawlessness and tribulation. However, that peace is only temporary until the coming of Jesus your Messiah which draws exceedingly near. The second arrival of the Messiah to earth is to bind and imprison Satan, the beast and adversary of God. This will be for a thousand years to prevent his continual deceiving of the world as he deceived Adam and Eve in God’s Garden of Eden. (Revelation 20:2-3).Wonderful times of refreshment will then become continuous joy, harmony and peace for those that turn to God, Those are His spiritually adopted children (Jew and Gentile) that keep on keeping on the love of our creator by keeping all His commandments and turning away from the greedy and lawless ways of the world which beckon everyone to receive the spiritual mark of the beast.

The governments of this world continue to follow the guidelines of the beast and believe in their wicked hearts they can fix things and make things right by bringing peace. Yet, they build more and more massive weapons of destruction to annihilate each other as prophesied by Jesus Christ Himself (Matthew 24:6, Mark 13:7). Peace can only come should the governments and people of this earth turn to our creator and follow His commandments and not follow the deceitful beckoning of the beast. Yet, who will listen? Only with the second coming of Jesus the Messiah to start the millennium to teach His children the correct way to have true peace and joy as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords rules supreme from His throne in Jerusalem.

The millennium will soon become a 1000 years of holiness on earth as Christ will reign as the Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9: 6).  This will be a time of great happiness with a government of freedom from imperfections within human existence. God’s Prophet Isaiah in 9:7 tells us, ‘Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of host will perform this’.

The Apostle Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 14:3-4 that our Lord continues to use prophets who are representatives that reveal his will and word to strengthen, encourage and provide comfort to believers. These are surrendered people used by God as his willing servants where and when he needs them. Many of His surrendered and willing servants are currently locked within the world’s prison system. Sadly, in this day and age the door has also been opened to many avaricious (greedy) false prophets who preach and teach only a portion (distorted contrary interpretation) of our Lord’s wisdom and truth. This will all change with the millennium when they will likely be among the first judged.

Humanity has a tragic past of greed, covetous and cruelty beginning with Cain. As his descendants, the world guided and deceived by Satan and his angels has mushroomed to the end of the road. The governments of mankind think they can find a better world someplace in outer space. While the world starves for nourishment for their bodies and nourishment for their souls with study of God’s word, massive funds are allocated to discover and hide from our Creator on another planet or galaxy. The Psalmist in 139; 7-8 says, ‘Where can I go from Your spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven (universe), You are there, If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there’.   ***In 6000 years mankind has tragically proven he cannot live in peace without the help of our God.

Isaiah 59:7-8 ** Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity, wasting and destruction are in their paths, The way of peace they have not known, and there is no justice in their ways. They have made themselves crooked paths; whoever takes that way shall not know peace.

We who have fled to our God away from the crooked paths of the world will find refuge and peace, for we hold on to his promise with confidence. This confidence is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It will lead us through the curtain of heaven into the inner sanctuary of our God. The Messiah Jesus has gone there for us. He has become our eternal High Priest in the line of Melchizedeck (King of Salem, meaning Peace/Jerusalem, who is Priest of God most high-Genesis 14:18)!   Turn from your sins and turn to God so you can be cleansed of your sins!  Humble yourself before the Lord and search His Holy Scriptures so you will find everlasting peace!
