The Truth

Acts 13: 38-39: NKJV: Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man (Jesus Christ) is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by HIM everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

The Law of Moses was the Law of God which was given to Israel by Moses. Except for the Ten Commandments, the Law of Moses includes Law of burnt offering (Leviticus 6:9), Law of meat (grain, Leviticus 6:14). Law of leprosy (Leviticus 14:57), law of Nazirite (Numbers 6:13), These laws were put in the side of the Ark of the Covenant as a witness (Deuteronomy  31:26).The finger of God wrote the Ten Commandments in stone (Exodus 31:18, Deuteronomy 9:10).  These eternal laws were placed inside the ark (Exodus 25:16).

Exodus 31:18: and when HE (God) had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai. He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.  * Exodus 25:21: You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony (tablets of stone, written with the finger of God), that I will give you.

The ark is reminiscent of the ark of Noah. Because of disobedience, God destroyed all breath of life on earth except Noah’s family totaling eight souls (Genesis 6:18 and Genesis 6:10). Noah walked with God and was perfect. * Genesis 6:9: …Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God. * Contents of the ark of Noah restored the temporary souls of all mankind and animals to this day. The law soon went the way of the wild goose. Much later, God established the Ten Commandments at Mount Sinai. The finger of God wrote the Ten Commandments in stone. However, everyone did what was right in his own eyes (Judges 21:25, 17:6). Christ the Messiah verified the Ten Commandments are forever until heaven and earth pass away.

Mathew 5:17-18: Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. * The word fulfill in Greek is pleroo meaning to realize, perform, execute, accomplish and to carry out. In words of clarity the law is to be obeyed and the promises of God which were given to the prophets will continue in the coming kingdom of God. Pleroo is also translated perfect in Revelation.

Revelation 3:2-3: Be watchful and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.

We must be watchful to keep the commands of love. A thief has no mercy on the victim. At judgment, Christ will relinquish mercy for evil and continuous unrepentance.

Matthew 5:19: Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. * The law reflects the will of God for mankind to follow for eternity. *Mark 3:35: For whoever does the will of God is MY brother and MY sister and mother. (Matthew 12:50 & 7:21). * Ephesians 6:6: Not with eye service, as men pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.

Matthew 19:17-18: So HE (Jesus) said to them: Why do you call ME good? No one is good but ONE, that is God. But if you want to enter into life (eternal), keep the commandments. He (young rich man) said to HIM, which ones? * Jesus quoted four of the ten, and then quoted number ten: You shall love your neighbor as yourself, meaning You shall not covet,: * There would be total peace in the world today if the entire world abided in this one command. * Matthew 19:21: Jesus said to him: If you want to be perfect, go, sell what your have and give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow ME.

The rich young man went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. The rich young man could not part with his idol worship of covetousness (Colossians 3:5). Also there was little or no love for the neighboring poor. To give away his riches would greatly reduce his sense of personal power and pride.   The toys of the rich and want to be rich are vanities that will soon pass away.  * Romans 13:10-11: Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.

We must wake up from sin and the wiles of Satan. The Helper, the Holy Spirit will assist in obtaining a passport to the kingdom. The receipt of the Holy Spirit after repentance, immersion in water and lay on of hands (Acts 8:17, 19:6, 28:8) is the official passport for entrance into the soon coming kingdom of God. Satan, the devil makes people think they have faith for everyone does what is right in his own eyes.

Romans 13:12-14: The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lust. * Lust and greed is covetousness which is idolatry. In addition to breaking commandment ten the first is also broken: You shall not have other gods before ME.

I remain your brother in Christ. Be blessed until we meet again.
