Perfect in One

The Truth

John 17:21-23:NKJV: That they all may be one, as YOU, Father, are in ME, and I in YOU; that they also may be one in US, that the world may believe that YOU sent ME. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one; I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as you have loved Me.

In fervent prayer, Christ consulted with the Father hours before HIS sacrifice as the Lamb of God. Also, the fervent prayer invited mankind into the family and household of God. * The Father the Son, the Creator and Redeemer are one from the beginning of Creation. The plan for mankind was conceived in Genesis 1:26: Then God said: Let Us make man in our image, according to OUR likeness… * The Hebrew word for our/us, we translate to Elohim, meaning God (Deuteronomy 6:4 also). Elohim is plural and occurs more than 2,000 times in the Old Testament. The Greek word Theos (God) is the New Testament translation of Elohim occurs more than 1,300 times.

Ephesians 2:18-19: For through HIM (Christ) we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God. * Note that both have a meaning of greater than two. Father and Son both possess the power of the Spirit to create a family of one. Our one God is greater than the entire universe. *John 10:30: I and MY Father are one.

Deuteronomy 6:4: Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! * One is translated in the original Hebrew as ehad. Ehad translates as one, a certain one, first, alone and together. Man and woman become one flesh (ehad) in Genesis 2:24. The New Testament Greek for one is heis. Heis is virtually the same translation as for ehad. This is fully explained by Christ in John 17:21-23. When Christ returns, the firstfruits, the saints, will be resurrected. In a moment they will be with God as a family of one. * 1 Corinthians 15:52: In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (into spirit beings). * 1 Thessalonians 4:17b: And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

The saints, the resurrected spirit beings will be one family alone from the rest of the world. They will be together as one household of God as one. The head of the family is the Father, the God of one, Elohim ehad.  Like Adam and Eve, the family will be small in the beginning. Eventually, the family will grow numerous as the sand of sea, which cannot be numbered in multitude (Genesis 32:12). Like Adam and Eve, both the Father and Son are training, creating and expanding a worthy family to bring many sons and daughters to glory. The Holy Spirit is the power of God. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of eternal life.

2 Timothy 1:6-7: Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands (Apostle Paul). For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of sound mind.

The chosen, the elect, are presently in training with the gift of the Holy Spirit and will inherit eternal salvation at the second coming of Messiah, Christ Jesus. The angels help the elect to overcome.

Hebrews 1:14: (angels) Are they not all ministering spirits went forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation? * This is necessary since Satan; the evil god continues to deceive the entire world (Revelation 12:9, 4, 17, Genesis 3:4, Leviticus 16:21-22, 2 Corinthians 4:4, 11:14; Ephesians 2:2, John 12:31). Satan will be cast out for a thousand years at the second coming of Christ (Revelation 20:1-3). Because of sin our God has planned for man to die once (Genesis 2:17, 3:3, 1 Corinthians 15:22).

Hebrews 9:27-28: And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for HIM He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. * Only those souls with the Holy Spirit to develop a righteous character to overcome sin will become family of God. We must continue to grow as the mighty oak tree grows from seed to finish. Thereby, we must continue to grow into the gift of grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Christ was obedient to the law of God and had no sin. We also can be obedient with the power of the Helper, the Holy Spirit. However, only a little flock in this age has received the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome power of Satan.

Luke 12:31-32: But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.  * The flock is small because the power of Satan, the dragon seeks to destroy the small church of God. * Revelation 12:17: And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The rest of the children of Mary are predominately Gentile Christians. However, in these last days, many Jews are becoming kosher Christians. The first Jewish church of God was established at Jerusalem on Pentecost in 31 A.D (Acts, chapter 2). Less than fifteen years later, the Holy Spirit fell upon the family and friends of Cornelius. The Roman centurion Cornelius was stationed at Caesarea. Peter and other Jews witnessed the pouring out of the Holy Spirit on the Gentiles also. * Acts 10:47: Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have? * Be blessed until we meet again. I remain your brother in Christ.
