Evil Thoughts

The Truth

Mark 7:21-23: NKJV: For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts; adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within (the heart, the mind) and defile a man.

Each child of our God is born into a world of filthy hands. The hands of a caregiver may wash the hands of a newborn; but never touches the heart (the mind) of the child. Traditions of man are quickly learned; but the mind of God (Scripture) is quickly put on the back burner of life. The newborn child quickly is rendered corrupt, defiled, unclean and unfit to be a friend of God. Scripture gives wisdom to overcome the evil world.

Romans 12:21: Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. * Romans 12:09: Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good

With hypocrisy, the evil world serves Satan, the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4)). Hypocrisy is play acting religion. Hypocrisy is pretending to love God and HIS children. The wicked one makes the world think they are doing good as they play act evil. The Lord knows your heart and mind. * Psalm 94:11-13: The Lord knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile. Blessed is the man whom YOU instruct, O Lord, and teach out of YOUR law, that YOU may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit is dug for the wicked. * The Promised Land is the rest for the children of God that keep HIS law and HIS commandments. The better and perfect Promised Land will soon come again with the arrival of Messiah, Christ Jesus.

Deuteronomy 1:39-40: Moreover your little ones and your children, who you say will be victims, who today have no knowledge of good and evil, they shall go in there: to them I will give it, and they shall possess it (Promised Land). But as for you, turn and take your journey into the wilderness by the Way of the Red Sea (the pit is dug for the wicked).

Each leader of a nation demands that you help that nation. A beloved leader and former President John F. Kennedy said: Ask not what your country can do for you; but what you can do for your country.

2 Corinthians 5:20-21: Now that we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For HE made HIM who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. * Now that we are ambassadors for Christ, our kingdom is not of this world.* John 18:36: Jesus answered: My kingdom is not of this world. If MY kingdom were of this world, MY servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now MY kingdom is not from here.* Will you be an ambassador for Christ in the soon coming new world of love and peace?

Jeremiah 29:11-13: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon ME, and I will listen to you. And you will seek ME and find ME, when you search for ME with all your heart.

Thoughts of evil take our heart, mind and soul away from the future kingdom of peace, love and godliness. Christ Jesus said: Matthew 15:19: For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, (and) blasphemies. * A classic thought of evil is adultery which is sinful. * Matthew 5:28: But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman in lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. * When our heart (mind) has evil thoughts, we commit sin and fall into the hands of the living God. The Lord will judge HIS people. * Hebrews 10:31: It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. * As long as we take the breath of life we must surrender to God with godliness to be an acceptable ambassador for Christ.

Chapter 12 of Romans encourages us to develop godliness to be an acceptable ambassador for the coming kingdom. Six duties are demanded for the coming kingdom. The duties are to love God, love ourselves and to love all children of the world. Inclusive duties are to live godly, soberly and righteously. * Romans 12:1-2: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.  And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

We can prove nothing without the power of the Holy Spirit which helps us to be renewed, acceptable and perfect will of God. The Holy Spirit is received after humble repentance to change our evil thoughts, baptism and lay on of hands. With help of the Spirit of God we are renewed as a new man or woman (Ephesians 4:23-24). * We then press onward to be perfect. * Ephesians 4:13: Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.* Perfection must persevere until the last breath of life when our Eternal calls us out of this evil world.

Isaiah 12:3-4: Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. And in that day you will say: Praise the Lord, call upon HIS name; declare HIS deeds among the peoples. Make mention that HIS name is exalted. * You will then be an ambassador for Christ in the soon coming new kingdom of love and peace. * Revelation 3:12: He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of MY God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of MY God and the name of the city of MY God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from MY God. And I will write on him MY new name.

Be blessed until we meet again.
