2 Corinthians 6:17-18: NKJV: Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be MY sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.

To become members of the family of God it is necessary to rid our life of any unclean thing that will contaminate the temple of God. For we are the temple of the living God (2 Corinthians 6:16). After the sin of disobedience the first idol of man was jealously, anger, rebellion and pride of Cain. These sins drove Cain to kill his only brother Abel (Genesis 4:7-8). The deceitful weave of sin was revealed when Cain questioned God, saying: Am I my brother’s keeper? To this day sin brings alienation within families in the form of strife and denial. Yet, God placed a mark on Cain for protection which is the same grace given to Adam and Eve with protective clothing.

After the flood, the next idol was pride that became rebellion against God. The single language of people was lost. The idol of personal pride in building the tower of Babel was far from God. Many nations and languages developed from this form of sinful jealously. Much later the scepter passed to a single nation to become a witness for the law of God for the entire world.

Genesis 49:10:12: The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes; and to Him (Messiah, Jesus Christ) shall be the obedience of the people. Binding his donkey to the vine, and his donkey’s colt to the choice vine, He washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes. His eyes are darker than wine, and HIS teeth whiter than milk. * The scepter was fulfilled with the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, and the Son of Abraham (Matthew 1:1).

Zechariah 9:9: Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey (Matthew 21:5, John 12:15 also). * The prophecy of Messiah, Jesus Christ to preach the coming kingdom of God on earth will soon be fulfilled (Read Matthew 6:10). To become worthy of the coming kingdom we must seek our God and obey HIS righteousness.

Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and HIS righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. * Most people have no time to seek the kingdom of God and HIS righteousness.  The sinful idol of worry continuously engulfs the heart so there is no time for God. Each day little children seek their computers to find new games to occupy time. Thereby, God is ignored as the child worships the idol, Satan, the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4). These games teach the child to gamble and break the first, second, fifth, eighth, ninth and tenth commandments of God.  The child becomes a liar for deceit becomes a liar (Read Revelation 12:9, John 8:44 * the father of liars deceives the whole world). Even the fourth commandment collapses because the kingdom of God must be worshiped on Saturday. The prophets, Christ, the disciples and the first church of God, established at Pentecost 31 AD, worshipped on the Sabbath day. Look at your calendar, Saturday has been the seventh day from the beginning.

Deuteronomy 5:12-14: Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God…* Deuteronomy 6:1-2: Now this is the commandment, and these are the statutes and judgments which the Lord your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, that you may fear the Lord your God, to keep all HIS statutes and HIS commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged.* Because of disobedience, God will soon bring the entire world into severe punishment. This is punishment that has never been and precedes the coming of world peace by Christ.

Matthew 24:20-22: And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened.  * The elect is the small flock descended from the time of Noah and his three sons. In these end times, the small flock has received the power of the Holy Spirit. This power has been received with the lay on of hands by ministers that walk as meek Jesus Christ. The elect keep the commandments of God. As a basis, the elect keep the law of Deuteronomy, chapter 5 and Leviticus, chapter 23. .* John 14:15: If you love ME, keep MY commandments.

John 14:27: Peace I leave with you, MY peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  * Without the promise of power from the counselor, the Holy Spirit, to guide the heart of obedient souls, nobody can be at home with God. Love with obedience to God is woven together as a fine garment.* John 14:15: If you love ME, keep MY commandments.

Be blessed until we meet again.
