Faith

1 John 4:7-8: Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. * True faith in God is sincere love for all creation, for love comes from God.

2 Thessalonians 1: 3-5: We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other, so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure , which is manifest (easily understood) evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer; * One of the first steps to become worthy for the kingdom of God is to humble yourself before God as Jacob set example.

Genesis 32:10-12: I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies and of all the truth which YOU have shown YOUR servant; for I crossed over this Jordan with my staff, and now I have become two companies. Deliver me, I pray, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau; for I fear him, lest he come and attack me and the mother with the children. For YOU said: I will surely treat you well, and make your descendants as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude. * One of Jacob’s descendants, Paul also recognized that he was unworthy to be an apostle.  He considered himself to be the worst sinner of all. Yet, he was forgiven by God.

1 Timothy 1:15-17: NLT: This is a true saying, and everyone should believe it. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners---and I was the worst of them all. But that is why God had mercy on me, so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life. Glory and honor to God forever and ever. He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; he alone is God (John 10:30, Deuteronomy 6:4) Amen.

Colossians 3:12-14:NKJV: Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. * The bond of perfection grows in faith when we keep all the commandments of love as documented in the book of Job.

Job 8:7: Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly. * Job continued to be faithful and never cursed God after the loss of all his children and wealth. His faith continued as the god of this world, Satan struck Job with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head (Job 2:7). * Job repented from speaking things he did not understand. * Job 42:3-6…Therefore I abhor (despise) myself, and repent in dust and ashes. * Job 42:12-13: Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning, for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys. He also had seven sons and three daughters. * After the ages of Job, animal sacrifices were changed when the Lamb of God, Messiah, Christ Jesus, was sacrificed.

Hebrews 10:7-9: Then I said: Behold, I have come---In the volume of the book it is written of ME---to do YOUR will, O God (Psalm 40:6-8). Previously saying: Sacrifice and offering, burnt offering, and offerings for sin YOU did not desire, nor had pleasure in them (which are offered according to the law), then HE said: Behold, I have come to do YOUR will, O God. HE takes away the first (sacrifice of animals) that HE may establish the second (sacrifice of the Worthy One, Christ). * The rest of the law of God has never changed since it is the eternal law of heaven. As descendants of Adam and Eve, therefore disobedient, mankind is rapidly beginning tribulation, the promised curses of Deuteronomy, chapter 28 and Leviticus, chapter 26.

Leviticus 26:17-18: I will set MY face against you, and you shall be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you shall reign over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you. And after this, if you do not obey ME, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. * The entire world, including most of the two billion proclaimed Christians are not right with God. Most people worship idols for they are well deceived by the adversary, Satan.

Colossians 3:4-5: When Christ who is our life appears, (and) then you also will appear (changed) with HIM in glory. Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth; fornication (adultery, prostitution), uncleanness (unworthy moral impurity), passion (unworthy desire to hurt, do wrong), evil desire (lust, craving, godless) and covetousness (greed, lovers of money, worldly possessions, selfishness), which is idolatry.* There is a better way to please God. Develop humility by:

1.      Be forgiving: Colossians 3:12-14: therefore , as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. * The bond is made perfect when we keep all commandments of God.

2.      Accept the supremacy of God in all things.* Micah 6:8: HE has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. * Psalm 25:8-10: Good and upright is the Lord; therefore HE teaches sinners in the way. The humble HE guides in justice, and the humble HE teaches HIS way. All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth, to such as keep HIS covenant and HIS testimonies.       *        Be blessed until we meet again.
