The Mind

    Home Back

Hebrews 8:10: For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put MY laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be MY people (also Jeremiah 31:31-34).

Our God is truth and cannot lie. Since mankind was created in the image of God, the expectation is for man to become part of the God family. * Genesis 1:26: Then God said: Let US make man in OUR image, according to OUR likeness… * The Hebrew word for our, as well as us, translates from Hebrew Elohim meaning gods and judges. The angels of Heaven are not gods but messengers and workers for God. * Psalm 103:20: Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word ( read 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8) * The leading angel rebelled against the Most High God and now from creation, deceives the whole world (Revelation 12:9). The current covenant of heaven and the covenant of putting the laws in the mind and hearts of Israel and the whole world cannot fully take place; until this leading angel is locked up for 1,000 years (proclaimed six times in Revelation 20).This spirit is Satan, the devil and adversary of God. But mankind has a savior.

First Timothy 2:3-5: For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. * This is the commanded (Leviticus 23: 4-5) solemn yet joyous truth of the annual Passover for all people. We must be a doer of this first step for salvation each year. This is the death of the Son of God to reconcile mankind. Most of mankind are still the enemy of God (read Romans 5:10). No man or woman can be saved until the promise of death is fulfilled and resurrection is completed. Christ set this example after three days and three nights in the tomb. The second step we must do is the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Leviticus 23:6-7). Leaven puffs bread up as mankind is puffed up with pride. We must strive to be like humble Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us (1 Corinthians 5:6-7). We are not saved by good works, yet we must walk as did Jesus Christ for good works (Ephesians 2:10). The third step in God’s plan for salvation is the commanded Feast of Pentecost (Leviticus 23:14-16).

Romans 12:1-4: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you not to think of himself more highly that he ought to think soberly, as God has dwelt to each one a measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function. * No man or woman can be fully renewed and transformed in the mind to prove to God what is good and acceptable and the perfect will of God without receiving help. This help of love comes via the power of the Holy Spirit that allows the perfect laws of God to be written in our hearts and minds (Hebrews 8:10). Only a little flock (firstfruits of God’s harvest) will receive this wisdom while alive with flesh and blood. This little flock (Church of God) will inherit the soon coming kingdom of God at resurrection.

Luke 12:31-32: But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

James 1:17-18: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Of HIS own will HE brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of HIS creatures. * Those workers of this small but expanding church are preparing for the great fall harvest. Every soul that our God has created will eventually be harvested. Each soul that accepts the current rules of heaven must do all the commandments and rules of God. Without abiding to the rules, the commandments of heaven, many will not receive salvation. The rules of heaven are proclaimed in Leviticus, chapter 23, Exodus, chapter 20 and Deuteronomy, chapter 5.

If we do not proclaim and do the rules of heaven while we sojourn in the flesh we become like a great ship that has not been moored or anchored to the home port dock. The power of the mighty sea will slowly cause the great ship to slowly slip away from the home port.  In the same way a little leaven, representing sin, will slowly infest the mind with the power of Satan to slip away from our eternal home port which is the soon coming kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 5:6-7: Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore purge out the old leaven (sin) that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened (struggling to be without sin). For indeed Christ, our Passover was sacrificed for us.  *  Next week, the fourth plan of God for your salvation.

Be blessed until we meet again.
